School will open for all classes on Tuesday 30th August 2011 at 8.30 a.m..
SEPTEMBER: No closures
OCTOBER/NOVEMBER: Autumn Mid-Term Break – School will be closed for 1 full week
31 October – 4 November 2011
School will close on Friday 28th October at the normal time (1.10 Infants & 2.10 other classes)School will re-open on Monday 7th November 2011 for all classes at 8.30 a.m.
DECEMBER: Christmas holiday – Friday 23rd December 2011 - Friday 6th January 2012
School will close on Thursday 22rd December 2011 at 12 noon.School will re-open on Monday 9th January 2012 for all classes at 8.30 a.m.
TERM 2: Monday 9th January 2012 to Friday 30th March 2012
JANUARY: No additional closures
FEBRUARY: Spring Mid Term Break – School will be closed for 2 days

MARCH: St Patrick’s Bank Holiday Weekend –
School will be closed on Friday 16th and Monday 19th March 2012
APRIL: Easter Holidays – School will be closed for 2 full weeks ***
Monday 2rd April - Friday 13th April 2012 School will close on Friday 30th March 2012 at 12.00 noon.School will re-open on Monday 16th April 2012 for all classes at 8.30 a.m.
TERM 3: Monday 16th April 2012 to Friday 29th June 2012
MAY: School will be closed on Monday 7th May (Public Holiday)
JUNE: Summer Mid-Term Break – School will be closed for 1 full week
4th – 8th June 2012 School will close on Friday 1st June at the normal time (1.10 infants & 2.10 p.m. others)School will re-open on Monday 11th June 2012 for all classes at 8.30 a.m.
School will close on Friday 29th June 2012 at 12 noon for Summer Holidays.
*** Please note, in accordance with a DES Circular 0034/2011, relating to the Standardised School Year, the school may open on up to three days of the Easter Holidays (2/3/4 April) in order to “make up for time lost due to ….…extensive or prolonged unforeseen school closures e.g due to weather”. This decision would be made by the Board of Management, if necessary, and any decision made would be communicated to the school community as early as possible.
