Learn Together

November & December

Universal Children's Day was on the 20th November this year. At Castaheany Educate Together, all the classes have been learning about children's rights, as part of the Learn Together curriculum. They have been learning about the things they should be allowed to do and what should be provided to them by their government and the people who care for them, so they can have a safe, healthy and happy life.

Just some examples of the wonderful work the children have completed on Martin Luther King.

Lorraine's class learned about how people get and use water in other countries, and about how lucky we are to have easy access to clean, running water in Ireland. Laura's class drew pictures and wrote about children who have to work instead of getting to play and go to school, like we do. We are very lucky.
