Senior Infants
Welcome to Senior Infants. We have two Senior Infant classes this year. Their teachers are Brietta and Gráinne.

Gráinne's Class
February

Dia dhaoibh go léir ó rang Ghráinne! We have been very busy since we came back to school. We have been learning new rhymes, songs and sounds; and learning how to work together quietly. We have been learning about our numbers, and now know all the different ways to make up the number 9. We made beautiful wrapping paper for presents before the holidays in Art. We really enjoy doing painting, and used different patterns and textures to create a snuggly blanket! We love listening to stories and are getting really good at reading by ourselves.
We are so lucky to have team teaching in our class, which means Sarah, Dónal, Emer and Louise come into our class to do Maths and English activities with us. We are also really improving at playing together and sharing during playtime, which helps us become better friends in the class. We hope you enjoy looking at our photos!

Brietta's Class
February

Fáilte romhaibh go léir! We have been very busy in the first few weeks since we came back to school. We are learning lots of new things. We learned about another animal that lives in Ireland- the badger. We also are learning about foods that are good for us and foods that are not so good for us. Every week we are getting better at our gymnastics. We can balance and do lots of rolls on the mats. Also we are learning new songs and listening to lovely music with funny names like ‘The March Past of the Kitchen Utensils’. Come and see what we are getting up to again soon. Slán!
